Alma Delfina

Born Alma Delfina Martínez Ortega on November 5, 1954 in Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico, she is the sister of the director Gonzalo Martinez Ortega, writer Mario Iván Martínez and the actresses Socorro Bonilla and Evangelina Martínez.

Her career began in 1974 on the telenovela “Mundo de juguete” and she continued to work on a string of Mexican soaps throughout the 1980s. In 1999 she moved to the United States and scored small roles on shows like “ER” and “CSI: Miami.”

In March 2016 Delfina got her first US daytime role on “Days of our Lives.”
