The show has never showed him dating. And this all of a sudden wanting Mya back he could think that being with a trans he could have his cake and edt it too. Carter saying this whole I miss you thing is crazy and the way Myasaid I hope you find someone one day was kind of tell all. Or she suspects something.

Why on earth are they ruining Carter…rerun clip he looked like he would faint upon reveal…Maya should not sex a man without spilling her little secret…Carter’s a great looking guy I see no reason he would still love Maya…the script is stupid…

No, it wasn’t convincing. I don’t even understand why they would take the character Carter there at all. It must be happening so that the character Maya will have something to do.

Not much they can do with Maya…she’s just Velcro for Ricky…I mean to rehash carter mooning over maya is twilight zone

Bell looking for a way to breakup Maya and Rick, by Maya and Carter having an affair. This makes no sense at all, Carter is a Paster and a Great looking man, why would he have to seek a married woman out. He should have women trying to get to know him, flocks of them, but Carter going to go down the hard way to get a woman…married. He going to go after a woman who LIED to him, about being a woman. This is such a stretch for Bell to try to get us to believe Carter needs to have Maya.

If this is going to happen then Rick should deserve to have a clean slate on the show for his wrong doings, now isn’t that hard to swallow…LOL. Rick got his Karma, when Maya lied to him about being a woman and now she is going to Cheat on him. If it happens, I am going to give Rick a clean slate to start on. But really I hope he comes out of this with an evil personality, since we need an Evil Villain! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I have no idea where the writers are going with this s/l. Not sure if it’s to make Maya more relevant; she’s just arm candy now, so to speak. But to have Carter rethink his relationship and go after her is ridiculous. But, nothing in any of these interactions have caused me to think he’s gay. I’m not sure why people like to play the ‘gay’ card whenever they’re uncertain about something . . . ‘oh yeah, he’s must be gay.’

Since Maya’s character was changed and they she is now a TG, there is no where to take the character as you can tell. Do you really think men will be knocking down her door to be with her??? That is why they are using Carter, he has already slept with her and knows. There is no way after Carter’s original reaction when he found out that he all of a sudden cannot live without Maya??? Carter is a handsome, successful man, he can find a women. I think it would have made more sense if one of Rick’s old girlfriends came back and pursued Rick. Or, Nicole bonds with Lizzy AND Rick. Maya’s character adds nothing to the show.

I don’t think he is confused or gay. I think the writers needed a storyline to make Maya relevant and this was the best they could come up with. Utter nonsense.

Rick is the one who I think is gay. Always have. He is so deep in the closet that he is dusting cobwebs.

People don’t understand what transgenger is. I don’t think it is supposed to have anything to do with being gay. Maya can be written for by those with some imagination, I guess some people just don’t have any. Maya does not have to be attached to Rick in every storyline nor Rick to Maya a lot of the other characters aren’t only attached to one person. If people would let go of their prejudices they might see that.

My vote is neither. Like so many other males o this show he is lonely and is trying to return to the past where he was once happy. Instead of taking a chance with someone new they want that old feeling to come back.

However, in Carter’s case he was so upset with Maya after the reveal that I thought he was going to hit her. He had tears in his eyes when he demanded she explain why she never told him, even after she accepted his marriage proposal. He was hurt. Now if there was a time for him to go crazy and snap it would have been then, not three years later.

I wish they would couple him up with Ivy, I think that the two of them have had enough rocky relationships to last a while and are due for some old fashion dating. Not the friends with benefits thing Katie and Wyatt are surfing but a real date in public. Give them a stand alone s/l that does require them to be on every day and they don’t need to have the entire clan butting in for advice.

I think that I would really enjoy the pairing of Carter and Ivy. The show needs a sweet couple around their ages… a couple not constantly steeped in far-fetched drama.

Basically the TG story on B.B. is over. Maya is back to the original Maya.

Carter not having loads of women hanging off of his arm is ridiculous. Now if this was a small no name town most of the country has never heard of I get it but this is Los Angeles California where there are so many beautiful women who would put Maya (who is beautiful) to shame. Carter is gorgeous, brilliant and rich so this is just stupid writing that he wants another man’s trans wife and could care less about breaking up a family. These writers are lame.

IMHO, Carter has never been given enough screen time and is only a peripheral character for everyone else. He is very under-used as an actor, it’s time to give him a solid story line.
