Manager Sarah Stennett Partners With Access Industries
LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Music manager Sarah Stennett and Len Blavatnik's Access Industries, a privately-held industrial concern with major stakes in a number of music, media and telecom companies, have launched a new joint venture called First Access Entertainment.
First Access Entertainment will focus on developing and representing both artists and brands, recorded music, songwriters and rights exploitation in the entertainment and fashion industries.
Access Industries acquired Warner Music in 2013 in a $3.3 billion sale and artists that are signed with First Access Entertainment will be distributed or released through Warners.
Before signing on with Access Industries, Stennett served as CEO Turnfirst Artists of where she and her team managed the careers of artists such as Ellie Goulding, Rita Ora, Iggy Azalea, Jessie J and Jack Garratt. Stennett was also recently named as manager for Zayn Malik as he pursues his post One Direction solo career.
Following the launch of the joint venture, all of Turnfirst's artist management activities will now fall under the First Access aegis. The announcement of the joint venture did not reveal the financial details of the partnership. – Staff Writers
