McCort baseball, Johnstown and Penns Valley softball win Wednesday

JOHNSTOWN -- Wednesday evening featured a trio of local games on the diamond.

In baseball, Mason Peil pitched Bishop McCort past Johnstown 2-0 with a 1-hitter.

In softball action, Johnstown raced past McCort, and Penns Valley topped Saint Joseph's.
