Officials confirm over 2 dozen FCI Loretto inmates positive for COVID-19, & some staff

CAMBRIA CO., Pa. (WJAC) — According to the Bureau of Prisons, 37 inmates and seven employees at Federal Correctional Institution Loretto have tested positive for COVID-19.

According to officials, 17 of the inmates are recovered, along with one employee. They also said there are no deaths.

The Bureau reports nearly 40,000 tests were completed, and over 10,900 of them were positive. Officials said over 4,000 tests are pending.
