The Pittsburgh Pirates signed a pair of free agent pitchers Tuesday to one-year deals, according to multiple reports.

Veteran right-hander Vince Velasquez signed a deal worth over $3 million.

The 30-year-old posted a 4.78 ERA in 2022 over 9 starts and 18 relief appearances with the Chicago White Sox.

Velasquez previously spent over five seasons with the Phillies, one full season with the Astros and part of a season with the Padres.

The Bucs also signed left-hander Jarlin Garcia to a deal, worth $2.5 million.

Garcia posted an ERA of 3.74 in 2022 in 65 innings with the San Francisco Giants.
