Jisoo

Kim Jisoo, known as Jisoo was born on January 3, 1995 in the capital of South Korea, Seoul; she is the oldest member of the group. In high school, Kim attended the prestigious Seven Fine Arts where she took acting classes. His father’s encouragement to become an actor fueled his interest in art. Jisoo is a lover of books and writing, she has stated in interviews how much she enjoys having books with her and finding time in her schedule to write a little.

Jennie Kim is one of the most versatile members of the group as she not only sings but raps as well. She was born in Seoul on January 16, 1996, and at age nine she was sent to school in New Zealand. She returned to South Korea in 2010, when she was 14 years old. That same year, she auditioned to be part of Blackpink. In 2016, she debuted with the rest of the group. But his career in music is not limited to the creations of the group; in 2018 she released her debut single, Solo. The song topped Gaon’s chart and held the position for two straight weeks. It became the most viewed music video on YouTube by a K-pop solo artist.

Like the other members of the group, she is no stranger to endorsements and is currently an ambassador for the Korean branch of Chanel. Jennie considers Rihanna to be her role model.

Lisa

Pranpriya Manoban who is the main dancer of the group was born on March 27, 1997 in Bangkok Thailand. Of all the girls auditioned in Thailand, she was the only one who made it into the group. After being selected by YG Entertainment, she moved to South Korea for five years before joining Blackpink. Lisa’s name comes from the name Lalisa, which is what she chose to call herself after a fortune-telling session. She is the only daughter of her parents and her stepfather is a popular chef in Thailand.

Pink

Roseanne Park was born in Auckland, New Zealand on February 11, 1997; Although she was born in Auckland, she spent her childhood in Melbourne, where she attended Canterbury Girls Secondary College. Her audition for the entertainment company was in 2012, the year she moved to Korea. She was the first choice in the auditions that same year.

Rosé has always had an affinity for singing and dancing, joining the choir from an early age and leading cheerleaders. Nicknamed the Goddess Blackpink, she was described as the most beautiful member of the group.
