A woman accused of throwing a small dog off a second-story deck multiple times is facing more charges.

Pennsylvania State Police say Betty Ann Davis, 49, of Bushkill, was first caught on surveillance footage twice throwing a 9-pound Pomsky off a second-story deck.

Davis initially said that the dog had broken its leg by "getting caught in the crate." However, it was found that the dog's injury—a broken leg with the bone protruding from the skin—was not consistent with how Davis alleged it occurred.

That's when surveillance footage showed her throwing the dog off the deck two times, and Davis was charged with cruelty to animals.

Troopers say the dog's owner recently found more footage of Davis throwing the dog off the second-story deck three more times. She now faces even more animal cruelty charges.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Davis is employed by the Mid-Hudson Forensic Psychiatric Center in New Hampton, New York.
