'You know what I did:' Man stabbed woman outside Cambria Co. senior center, police say
Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Cambria County say a Saltsburg man is behind bars after he allegedly stabbed a woman, in the parking lot of an area senior living facility, after asking her if she had jumper cables.
Ebensburg police say officers were dispatched to the Cambridge of Ebensburg parking lot Wednesday afternoon for a report of a stabbing.
Police say the caller claimed that a man had reportedly walked up to her and stabbed her in the face after asking if she had jumper cables.
According to the affidavit, police arrived at the scene and located the suspect, identified as 41-year-old Victor Kealey, sitting inside his vehicle.
Authorities say when the officer approached the vehicle and asked Kealey what had happened, he reportedly responded by saying, "you know what I did."
Police say Kealey then yelled, "just shoot me" and began exiting the vehicle.
Authorities say Kealey then threatened to stab the officer and continued to demand that he "shoot him" while he "aggressively" walked towards him.
Police say another officer then arrived at the scene and tased Kealey.
Investigators say police then searched Kealey and his vehicle where they discovered several knives and belt holsters, including the knife used to stab the woman.
Police say the victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of a facial wound.
Investigators say the victim also further explained that Kealey had reportedly stabbed her after she told him that she did not have any jumper cables.
Police say Kealey allegedly "looked at her weird" before stabbing her and then "walked away calmly."
According to online court records, Kealey faces numerous charges including aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and making terroristic threats.
He is being held at the Cambria County Prison on $100,000 bail.
