Twenty years ago, American Airlines Flight 77, from Dulles International Airport, was hijacked over Ohio.

The plane later crashed into the Pentagon in Washington D.C. and we recently spoke to one man who survived the Pentagon attack on September 11th.

“You never get over it, okay? Twenty years ago, it seems like, I don’t want to say it’s like yesterday, but it seems a lot closer than twenty years. It doesn’t feel like it’s twenty years. Yes, it was horrific. My office used to be in 1c730, and we were moved. And the place that we had been is where the plane hit, but we had been moved. Because of that, one of the reasons why, I was spared; I was not injured. There were people that I knew that were injured or even did not survive the hit. So, it was an amazing day. We felt the blast, for sure, but it is something that I will never forget.”
